For DTF printed shirts, the best care is: wait 24–48 hours before the first wash, turn the shirt inside out, machine wash cold with similar colors on a gentle cycle, and use mild detergent. Avoid bleach, fabric softener, harsh stain removers, and dry cleaning.
For drying, hang drying is best for maximum print life. If using a dryer, tumble dry on low heat. High heat can eventually cause cracking, peeling, or premature wear.
Never iron directly over the DTF design. If ironing is necessary, turn the garment inside out and use low heat. Avoid stretching the design while the shirt is hot.
With proper care, a quality DTF print can stay vibrant for 50+ washes, and often considerably longer.
